-Thermal Contrast Lipolysis
Rid yourself of stubborn fat without the need for surgery.
At Āhua Studio we understand personally that a balanced diet and regular exercise aren’t always enough to get rid of stubborn excess fat, which can be frustrating.
Fortunately, advances in fat removal technology have made it possible to remove stubborn fat from any part of the body without surgery, anesthesia, scarring, or prolonged downtime.
Thermal shock fat freezing uses a technology that delivers a series of temperatures from hot-cold-hot to shock the subcutaneous fat cells. Causing them to permanently die. The dead fat cells are naturally disposed of over the weeks through your lymphatic system.
Thermal shock fat freezing (cryolipolysis, or fat freezing), is a procedure that uses controlled freezing to cool fat cells until they crystallise, and then those fat cells die.
Your body naturally disposes of the crystallised fat in the weeks after the session, leaving you with your natural shape and contours, which couldn’t previously be obtained with exercise or dieting.
You might not believe it, but this cutting-edge procedure is non-invasive and requires no anesthesia or downtime.
You can resume your regular activities immediately following the session.
It is a TGA-approved procedure that is proven to reduce exercise-resistant or genetically prone fat areas.
Even if you live an active lifestyle, fat deposits can be difficult to target and remove.
Sometimes we just need a little help in the following areas:
Chin, Jawline and Neck
Back/Flanks & Bra line
Hips & Love handles
Pectoral area & Gynecomastia
Inner & Outer Thighs
Cryolipolysis or Liposuction?
Although both fat reduction methods are considered safe, the procedures and outcomes can differ.
Liposuction is a surgical method requiring anaesthesia to remove large quantities of fat and reduce body weight.
With liposuction, there is the normal risk of complications that come with surgery, including infection, scarring, and adverse reactions to anaesthesia.
Surgical procedures also require recovery time and are generally more expensive than non invasive treatments.
Fat freezing is non-surgical and has none of the risks associated with surgery, effectively reducing localised fat while contouring the body.
Additionally, while liposuction patients are often left with loose, sagging skin, the fat freezing healing process allows the skin to adjust within months of the treatment plan.
What should I expect?
Fat Freezing sessions require no special preparation from you.
However, you will need to read through and acknowledge our pre-treatment information which we will then go through with you in person so we can best plan your treatment to target your areas of concern.
The treatment process is painless, requires no anaesthesia, and may only need one session to get your desired results.
Your skin is protected from the risk of ice burn with a medical-grade gel pad, and a typical session lasts up to one hour.
To finish, we will gently massage the treated area to reactivate microcirculation, and then you can return to your daily activities immediately, including exercise.
Fat Freezing is very effective at reducing localised pockets of fat to help with body contouring and shaping the body. While most people have excellent results, these results may vary and we can't make any guarantees.
